Director of Development

We are seeking a passionate, professional, experienced and successful fundraiser to be Development Director and help lead our organization through the next exciting phase of growth as we expand our mission to serve more women. The ideal candidate will have excellent people management skills and is responsible for fundraising, specifically with individual, corporate/business, foundations and faith-based donors.

Lead Shelter Supervisor

The Sophia’s Place Lead Shelter Supervisor provides leadership, overseeing and ensuring quality of the Shelter operating at Sophia’s Place at St. Luke’s. This position provides direct services to clients, as well as supervision of Shelter Supervisors, in partnership with the Director of Client Services.

Part-time Shelter Supervisor

The Shelter Supervisors support The Sophia Way’s mission of assisting women from homelessness to independence by providing direct service and supervision to program participants, helping them adapt to community living and program policies, and ensuring effective operation of the shelter program. The part-time Shelter Supervisor will work two to three evening or overnight shifts each week.

On-Call Shelter Supervisor

The Shelter Supervisors support The Sophia Way’s mission of assisting women from homelessness to independence by providing direct service and supervision to program participants, helping them adapt to community living and program policies, and ensuring effective operation of the shelter program. This position requires 30+ hours per month with an additional 16+ hours of being on-call.

Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager provides management of two facilities that are the sites of three programs: Holly House Transitional Housing, Sophia’s Place Day Center, and Sophia’s Place Night Shelter Program. A working partnership with the Day Center Manager is necessary to ensure that Shelter and Day Center programs operate congruently.
