Beverly has a Home of her Own!

01_beverly-homeWe are ending 2016 on a high note of Gratitude! Beverly moved into her own home in the last days of December. She is one of the 22 women whom you helped to find stable and permanent housing.

Beverly has been associated with us for the last two years. She moved from our 6-month shelter program into our transitional home (Holly House) a year and a half back. She now has her own apartment near the SeaTac airport. She could have moved in on Dec 1st but she wanted to spend the Holiday season with her friends at Holly House. So she waited one whole month and moved just a few days ago. Such is the sense of community that is formed among the ladies.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead
