Kirkland Place Ribbon Cutting

Please join us for the grand opening of the Kirkland Place for Families and Women!

When: Wednesday, August 19 at 10 am

Where: The livestream can be watched on Facebook or on the Salt House YouTube channel.

The New Bethlehem Project, The Sophia Way, and Salt House will be hosting a livestream event to celebrate the community working together to make the shelter a reality.

While we wish we could all be together in person, the livestream allows us to keep everyone safe and include everyone who wants to take part in the celebration.

Highlights include:

  • Virtual tour of the shelter
  • Blessing of the new space by Pastor Sara Wolbrecht, Pastor Lisa Horst Clark, Fr. Kurt Nagel, and Fr. Gary Zender
  • Appearances by Kirkland Mayor, Penny Sweet and King County Council Chair, Claudia Balducci
  • Messages of gratitude by the staff at Catholic Community Services and The Sophia Way

Please share this exciting news with your friends and family!
