Support Network

Join a group to grow the network

The Sophia Way Support Network is a gathering of people from congregational and community groups who collaborate on how to serve the women experiencing homelessness, in King County.

This network brainstorms strategies and resources to stay up to date and further The Sophia Way’s work in the area. The Sophia Way shares news, opportunities and challenges at each meeting. Each member is encouraged to share the Support Network meeting information to reach more members of the community.

There is no pressure to fund raise or to take on any particular task. The ideal Support Network member has a passion to end homelessness, an open mind to hear the stories of The Sophia Way’s challenges and triumphs, and a willingness to share this message with others.

We meet at noon on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Bellevue First Congregational Church at 11061 NE 2nd St, Bellevue.

The commitment required has two parts

  • First, to attend a one hour meeting once a month at Bellevue First Congregational Church. Alternatively, keep connected by email to receive minutes and information.
  • Second, share your knowledge and passion with your group or congregation to encourage them to get involved. You choose what you think will resonate with your group. Prepared bulletin blurbs and inserts are often provided, but you are always free to craft your own text.

If you would like to join or have any questions, please email volunteer@sophiaway.org
