Shelter Needs

Help us stock our two shelters – Helen’s Place in Kirkland and Sophia’s Place in Bellevue – with essentials items and supplies that will make it a warm and welcoming place for women in need in our community.

Please view our list below for items needed. (Currently, we are not accepting clothing as we have limited storage space).

Immediate Needs

  • Underwear (new only) – all sizes
  • Leggings/ Yoga pants
  • Products for black hair care (combs, gel, coconut oil, etc.)
  • Breakfast items (cereal, juice boxes, granola and protein bars, boiled eggs, etc.)
  • Coloring/ crafting supplies
  • Headphone

Items that we are unable to accept

  • Clothing that is dirty or torn
  • Toiletries that are used or opened
  • Open packets of feminine products
  • Furniture
  • Children’s clothing or toys

Effective November 5, we have a new contactless Donation Center to accept in-person drop-offs.

Where: 222 112th NE, Bellevue WA
(The entrance is on the east side of the building facing the 405 freeway)
When: Every Thursday from 12 to 3 pm
