If you’re 70.5 or older, you’re eligible to make a tax-free gift directly from your IRA to support The Sophia Way! This Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is an easy way to reduce your taxable income while making an immediate impact at our shelters. To get started, contact your IRA custodian and request a QCD to The Sophia Way. They’ll guide you through the steps to ensure the transfer is direct, so your gift qualifies as tax-free. For additional assistance, you may also want to consult your financial advisor or tax professional.
