A home isn’t a privilege – it’s a necessity. Yet, more women than ever are facing the devastating realities of unaffordable housing and economic hardship resulting in experiences of homelessness. Homelessness is rising at an alarming rate on the Eastside, with roughly 8% year-over-year increases in the past 5 years.

Join us on April 3rd for a meaningful luncheon to better understand how investing in our work can change lives – helping women move from crisis to stability, to securing safe housing and rebuilding their futures.

Like Tracey, who fled an unsafe home and was forced to live in her car with nowhere to turn. Thanks to donor-funded support, she connected with our program receiving case management, mental health counseling, and essential resources. Today, she has a steady job, an apartment to call home, and a renewed sense of hope.

The Sophia Way believes every woman deserves shelter, safety, and a path to stability. Since 2008, we have served over 5,000 women, helping hundreds secure permanent homes. And the impact is lasting – between 2020 and 2023, 89% of the women we housed remained in housing. That’s the return on investment when you support The Sophia Way.

We hope you will join us to learn more!

We also invite you to bring together your network to learn more about our work and with the capacity to make a supporting gift. If you would like to be a table host, please email Marc Vermouth, Director of Development
