Dear Friends and Supporters,

We write to you today with a heavy heart. The Sophia Way community is deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of a client the afternoon of August 23rd which you may read about in the news. The women staying with us, as well as our staff, are grieving and appreciate the care and concern of the greater community during this time of loss.

With respect for our clients and staff, we are unable to offer additional information and appreciate your care, concern, and support as we navigate through this time of grief. As an organization, we have the responsibility to protect and maintain the confidentiality of client information. The Sophia Way is offering additional supportive resources to clients and staff for as long as is needed.
