04 Jan Gratitude and Hope in the New Year!
Dear Friends,
As we begin the new year, I am grateful for your generous support and filled with optimism and determination for the year ahead.
Your belief in our mission not only provided shelter but also offered hope, warmth, and a sense of security to women who need it most. The impact of your support reverberates far beyond the walls of our shelter, reaching the lives of the more than 350 women we had the privilege to serve last year.
One hundred forty women found a stable living environment in 2023. We are confident that with your support we will empower more women to find shelter and a place they can call home.
We are excited to continue our journey with you by our side. Together, we will continue to create positive change and make a lasting difference.
May the new year bring joy, fulfillment, and the knowledge that your generosity has touched the lives of so many. Wishing you a warm and wonderful 2024!

Stability means…
… a foundation to rebuild the life I was meant to live.”
… getting out of the quicksand and walking on solid ground.”
Our case managers follow the guiding principles of trauma-informed care approach, respecting each woman’s lived experience and appropriately responding to their trauma. For some women, that means reuniting with family. Others need a transitional home with support. Many seniors and women with disabilities need a safe place they can afford. Women also need mental health referrals and support in finding jobs or legal services to rebuild their lives.
