The Sophia Way’s annual fundraiser brings together our community – in person and virtually!
Please join us on Wednesday, October 12 at 11:30 am at Bellevue College for lunch and a program full of community celebrations, updates from leadership, as well as learning how women’s lives are changed on their journey to a place to call home!!
While there is no cost to attend the event, we hope you will give generously to support The Sophia Way’s programs and services that provide shelter and stability to unhoused women in our community.
Can’t attend? You can still watch the livestream of the event on the day!
We are thrilled to announce Leslie Schofield and Bob Stanbary as the recipients of the Grace of Giving Award 2022!
Leslie and Bob have been steadfast supporters of The Sophia Way since its earliest days, when St. Luke’s Lutheran Church hosted the night shelter. Their generosity extends to the broader Eastside community as they support other organizations, including Imagine Housing and Congregations for the Homeless.
The Sophia Way created this accolade in 2020 to honor community champions who support our mission to provide shelter, safety, and stability to women experiencing homelessness. In the last two years, Karina O’Malley and Nickhath Sheriff were each honored with the award.
Do you like to throw parties? Do you want to tell your friends about The Sophia Way?
Well, we believe in the power of community. And we want to invite you – our community – to host your own personal gatherings to share your passion for supporting women experiencing homelessness! As a host, you personalize your event, choose a location, time, and food that is best for you and your guests.
